The Otoplasty procedure is done to adjust the position, shape, or size of the ear. It is usually done to move prominent ears closer to the head or to reduce the size of large ears. The procedure provides a more natural appearance to your ears.
Recovery:Head dressing worn for 1 week, return to activities 7-10 days later.
Ear and Earlobe Keloids form after minor trauma, most commonly after ear piercing.
Recovery:It is required to wear pressure earrings for a year following surgery and have follow up appointments.
Torn and stretched earlobes are very common due to heavy earrings, gauges, or trauma.
Recovery:Stitches out in one week and re-piercing done 3 months after.
